Job Profile

The company is seeking a Machinist who will set up and operate on special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe/mill), and/or numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers.

You’re responsible for the fabrication of metallic/nonmetallic parts that hold to the high-quality machine standards required.

You’ll be working with a collaborative team in an innovative, high-technology facility.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants should have a Diploma in Mechanical or Equivalent

Work Experience

• The candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant working experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
• Ability to calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must have a working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T).

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry
• Be able to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
• Demonstrate a basic to intermediate skill level on a manual lathe (indicate part, turn OD’s, and qualify ID)
• Have basic communication skills in the English language
