Job Profile

The company is looking for a Machinist who will spend the day in an office cubicle, operating a crane or running the melt shop at one of the mills.

Educational Qualification

  • The applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

  • The candidates should have 2 years of experience as a CNC programmer programming with Mastercam
  • Experience reading blueprints required


  • Able to operate machinery (Manual Lathe, Milling Machine, Drill Press, Key Seater, surface grinder, CNC machines)
  • Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
  • Machine parts from prints and can make parts from samples
  • Must understand materials, cutting tools, tool speed and material feed rates, coolant requirements, and machining techniques
  • Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
  • Plan machining operations by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference plans, locations of surfaces, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances
  • Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Programming mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, calculating requirements, including basic math, proving part programs
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfortable working in a multidiscipline environment
  • Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times including proper wearing of company PPE
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work at heights for extended periods of time in extreme temperatures
  • Ability to utilize precision measurement instruments
