Job Profile

The company is looking for a Machinist who will operate 2-5 axis CNC machine cells as well as standalone machines, which requires basic machine setup including preparing and setting up fixtures and cutting tools, as well as loading and adjusting CNC programs and offsets.

Ability to use more advanced quality inspection tools and techniques such as height and air gauges and bench inspection.

Basic competencies in print reading and common CNC G and M codes.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Machinist Certificate (strongly preferred)

  • Familiarity with hand measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, air gauges, bore gauges, etc.

  • Read basic technical documentation and drawings after receiving training

Working Conditions

  • Daily duties may require an extended duration of walking.
  • Daily duties may require sitting, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, operating, and manipulating hand tools.
  • Exposed to a Manufacturing setting with heavy machinery.
  • May be required to move items up to 35 pounds.
