Job Profile

The company is seeking a Machinist who will be responsible for machining parts.

Operate multiple machines simultaneously on the shift.

Ensure efficient machine operation to produce quality products while working safely and meeting delivery expectations to our customers.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A Technical Certificate or an Associate Degree in a Machine Tool program or 5-7 years of previous experience (required)

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience with mathematics including trigonometry, drawings, and measuring devices (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Capable of running multiple machines
• Create and edit CNC programs.
• Know inspection tools and how to use them to ensure parts meet print specifications and finishes.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.
• Perform inspections, tests, and audits on processes, products, and components.
• Safely perform work by following safety rules and ensuring that proper safety equipment is used.
• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines and grinders. Monitor the life of tooling and sharpen tools.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must be able to stand for the entire shift and can lift 50 lbs.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including geometric tolerancing.
• The position requires a team player, and a self-starter with good communication skills.
