Job Profile
The company is seeking a Machinist who will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced machining equipment to produce high-quality aerospace parts and components.
Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure that all machining tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Requires a high level of expertise and experience in aerospace machining operations, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
Education Level
- Diploma from a technical high school or equivalent (required)
Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of related experience (required)
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ability to manufacture tools, fixtures, and parts from a blueprint.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery.
- Follow written work instructions, able to understand assembly blueprints, tooling blueprints, and build procedures.
- Identify and resolve issues with processes that can lead to continued improvements.
- Inspect finished aerospace parts to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining processes and reduce waste.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior machinists and other team members.
- Set up and operate various types of machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, CNC machines, band saws, and drill presses.
- Work closely with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills
- Competence and expertise in machine safety and guarding
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing techniques
Work Environment
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Requires use of information or access to hardware that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
