Job Profile

The company is looking for a Machinist to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Must have completed the academic and practical competencies required

Work Experience

• 4 years of experience in the crafts of Machinist, Line Boring, Welding, and Boiler Making
• Experience working on 4100XPA, 4100XPB/C, and 4100 XPC/AC Komatsu Electric Shovels
• Experience working on PV271, PV271XC Epiroc Diesel Drills

Duties/Responsibilities

• Complete Work Orders and other maintenance documentation
• Develop solutions for various maintenance situations
• Perform routine maintenance activities
• Train and mentor maintenance employees
• Perform other duties as required

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to communicate in English for job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
• Ability to Operate an 11”, 20”, 24”, and 32” Lathe, Milling Machine, Horizontal Milling Machine, Marvel Band Saw, and Drill Press.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.
• Proficiency in welding/cutting.
