Job Profile
The company is recruiting a Machinist who will ensure all products are made safely, with the highest quality, and in an efficient manner.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
- At least 1 year of experience operating CNC machines
- Completion of an apprenticeship or training program (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensure that the machines are operating correctly and that pieces are cut to perfection
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Meet production schedules.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement.
- Perform maintenance on the machines and replace dull or aged parts as necessary.
- Plan machining in the cell by studying work orders, blueprints, and setup sheets to ensure quality production.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts.
- Sets up and operates various machines as rotation takes place within a work cell.
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.

- Ability to operate a computer, fax machine, and other office equipment
- Ability to use precision gauges and measuring instruments
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
- Technical ability and basic math skills
