The company is hiring a Maintenance B to join its Maintenance Department.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Install and maintain machinery and equipment
• Occasional Fabrication and welding
• Operate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools
• Repair, rebuild, and maintain mechanical drive systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, and working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted
• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed
• Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
• Maintain and commit to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero-injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed

Additional Qualifications

• Basic welding, layout, and fabrication skills
• Experience with V-belt and Chain drive systems
• Machine troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience with 480 volt – 3 phase motor circuits
• Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge a plus
• Willing and able to take formal trade school courses as selected by ADM management and take such courses continuously during the training period
