The company is hiring a Maintenance Electrician to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical School or Apprenticeship training (a plus but not required)
• Documented on the Job training (a plus but not required)

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage (up to 480V) systems.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and take direction from Supervisor.
• Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment and powered and non-powered tools.
• Review and initiate continuous improvement projects.
• Self-starter, motivated, trustworthy and dependable.
• Understanding and compliance with Lock Out Tag Out procedures and safe practices.
• Willingness to continually learn and participate in continued education when offered.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and correctly repair facilities and associated equipment on time.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and correctly repair production line equipment on time.
• Capable of reading blueprints, manuals, schematic drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Computer literacy.

Work Environment

• Office environment – includes, but is not limited to, artificial lighting, computers, telephones, desks, temperature controlled.
• Manufacturing environment – includes, but is not limited to, artificial lighting, machine/equipment noise, some welding exhaust, metal working fluid mist, non-controlled temperatures, and PPE (required)

Physical Demands

• Ability to move about the plant in both the office and manufacturing areas.
• Ability to sit for short periods to complete required reports.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to walk for long periods.
• Manual dexterity for computer work.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
