Job Profile

The company (XTO Energy) is recruiting a Maintenance Foreman who will work with completions, construction, and operations, to maximize productivity.

Leads flowback set up and tear down (welders, hydrovac, roustabouts, flowback companies) to make sure XTO expectations are met.

Monitoring invoices for accurate reflection of field work performed

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

  • Possess maintenance and oilfield experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist management in identifying contractors for potential services required to carry out directives and objectives
  • Checks proper condition of wellhead equipment prior to putting a well on production, including completions, artificial lift, electrical, construction, and automation/telemetry installation.
  • Coordinate with Senior Management on operations and daily activities
  • Daily monitoring and management of crews and operators collecting data on new wells.
  • Daily operations of natural gas compressors, dehydration units, loading and unloading of water and condensate trucks, and operations of pipeline facilities including, but not limited to, ROW patrols, pigging, and gas leak surveys.
  • Ensure proper Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • Ensures routine maintenance services are performed safely and per specifications
  • Immediately report any SSHE concerns up through the chain of command
  • Monitoring invoices for accurate reflection of field work performed.
  • Perform all DPOS company protocols
  • Perform electronic invoicing approval and appropriately manage the company’s business model
  • Provides guidance and ongoing training for Operations Tech; trains field personnel as needed
  • Provides operations surveillance, interfacing with completions and construction personnel, to aid in scheduling new wells being put on production.
  • Provides troubleshooting and supervision of inspection, repair, and pressure testing of equipment.
  • Responsible for engaging in and promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Use SCADA systems to monitor operations.
  • Write and document various permits associated with daily activities.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Commitment to our safety culture and environmental standards.
  • Must be able to work in extreme outdoor conditions, work flexible hours, and on-call rotation as required.
  • Must be certified to work at heights using appropriate fall protection.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must view safety as a value.
  • Strong computer skills in WellView, Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Working knowledge of P&IDs, natural gas compressors, dehydration units, and SCADA systems.

Preferred Requirements

  • Ability to lead a diverse work group
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Current certification in Well Control
  • Good driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle
  • Knowledge of surface and subsurface mechanics for multiple artificial lift applications.
  • Previous maintenance and oilfield experience preferred (5 years)
  • Working knowledge of P&IDs, natural gas compressors, dehydration units, and SCADA systems.
