Job Profile
The company is seeking a Maintenance Lead who will keep the building(s) and machines in running condition.
Minimize downtime with planned maintenance and quick response to corrective maintenance.
Education Level
- High School Diploma (a plus)
Work Experience
- Possess work-related experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Archive all purchase requisitions
- Building repair and maintenance
- Carpet installation/repair
- Ceiling tile install/repair
- Concur items that have been purchased with the company CC
- Electrical troubleshooting – metal sawing equipment, welding equipment, CNC mills and lathes, manual machining equipment, and presses.
- Follow through, vendor completes the job on time, and any billing issues
- General installation of pictures, dry-erase boards, and other items.
- Identify items that are required for repair/maintenance, source, procure, and, in some cases, inventory if necessary
- Implementation of 5s+ Safety
- Install and repair building wiring: single and 3-phase circuits
- Install and repair light fixtures, outlets, and light switches
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures
- Install or coordinate with outside contractors for safety-initiated projects
- Mechanical repair of above mentioned equipment
- Metal roof patch/repair
- Outsourcing vendors to assist with maintenance and repair
- Participate in Gemba walks to identify areas/items that need improvement
- Pneumatic troubleshooting of compressed air systems and tools
- Prep and paint building surfaces efficiently and effectively
- Repair/replace/enhance noted items on Gemba walks
- Service coordinator
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment
- Troubleshooting hydraulic systems used in various applications in the shop.
- Vehicle fleet and forklift repair as needed
- Work with supervisors on sustaining Gemba improvements
- Work with the supply chain in the purchasing process.
- Other duties as assigned
