Job Profile
The company is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic who will provide support to the production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant.
Education Level

Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience in electrical troubleshooting and a good understanding of Allen Bradley PLC Controllers, motor starters, relays, photo-eyes, limit switches, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, belts, and welding/cutting.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Performing preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
- Operation of Maintenance computer system for time entry and work order generation.
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and failures and completing repairs as needed.
- Following work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality, including all quality assurance checks and keeping proper documentation.
- Being responsible for recognizing and reporting people’s safety, food safety, and/or quality issues.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, complete changeovers, lift, twist, bend, carry, stand, stoop, turn, and reach overhead.
- The ability to work overtime and weekends.
