Job Profile

The company is searching for a Maintenance Mechanic who will install, maintain, diagnose, and repair primarily off-road equipment used in the loading, unloading, transfer, and storage of bulk materials, including conveyor systems.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants should have a High School Diploma

Work Experience

• The candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience directly related to diagnosis, repair/maintaining mobile equipment, conveyors, and bulk handling systems.
• Crane experiences a plus

Duties/Responsibilities

• Complete all work in a safe and timely manner in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Diagnose problems and make repairs to heavy equipment, cranes, loaders, dozers, etc.
• Move machinery and equipment to diagnose and repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all terminal equipment.
• Work from blueprints, schematics, or verbal instructions.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to work with others.
• CDL a plus
• Computer skills are a plus.
• Demonstrate aptitude to execute and maintain necessary records.
• Experience with welding, diesel engine repair, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work at heights, and have the ability to climb ladders and stairs.
• Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and required.
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must pass background check drug screen and be able to obtain TWIC.

Other Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required.
