The company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Work Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field
• Completion of a vocational or trade school curriculum from an authorized school with a concentration in electro-mechanical courses (desired)
• Mechanical pretest for employment

Duties/Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable of what and where spare parts are in the storerooms, and observe the store room withdrawal and return procedure
• Diagnose and repair faulty production and related plant equipment with the minimum amount of supervision using the provided schematics, manuals, and drawings. Be able to diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems, troubleshoot electrical problems, and have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance strategies
• General working knowledge of machine shop equipment
• Identify faulty parts and provide proper nomenclature in the form of a requisition so that spares or replacements can be ordered
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Must be team-oriented with leadership qualities and capable of leading co-workers in assigned tasks
• Responsible for additional specific duties related to each shift as assigned by the maintenance supervisor
• Will be expected to maintain necessary records and established maintenance procedures
• Other duties as necessary

• Ability to operate basic machine shop equipment
• Ability to operate motorized equipment and other peripheral equipment safely and efficiently as required
• Demonstrates ability to accurately post data from one source to another in ERP or peripheral software systems.
• Demonstrates ability to understand and actively participate in all company safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrates the ability to utilize standard hand tools
• Demonstrates advanced mechanical aptitude and abilities
• Demonstrates an advanced, comprehensive knowledge of the entire process from concept to commercialization.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of production technological methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment in manufacturing facilities
• Must be able to read and use precision type instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Speaking and presentation skills to conduct effective meetings
• Must be able to pass a multiple-choice test with a handwritten section.
