The company (Raytheon) is hiring a Maintenance Plumber to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Current Texas Plumber Journeyman license with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, modifying, and repairing a wide variety of plumbing equipment such as water heaters, toilets, sinks, eyewash stations, etc.
• Experience constructing, installing, modifying, and repairing various types of city water distribution.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly and handle heavier components/items on an occasional basis.
• Act quickly and decisively to avoid damage to plants and equipment and to prevent production delays.
• Improvise in emergencies and modify equipment for special purposes in the absence of drawings or precedents.
• Install, maintain, and repair all types of plumbing equipment and piping at the Richardson, TX facility.
• Install, troubleshoot, modify, and repair a wide variety of plumbing fixtures, valves, heat exchangers, etc.
• Maintain necessary records including timekeeping records, construction as-built drawings, preventative maintenance, etc.
• Requires stooping, bending, and working in awkward positions. Will frequently work while standing on ladders and scaffolds.
• Weld, solder, and braze.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must have a valid driver’s license to drive around the site.
• Ability to operate a powered man-lift.
• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.
