Job Profile
The company is searching for a Maintenance Technician who will calibrate and inspect a variety of pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical equipment for use in production, laboratory and maintenance areas.
Makes mechanical repairs to pneumatic, steam, air, water, and hydraulic equipment. Occasionally perform lubrication, carpentry, welding, and electrical duties.
Educational Qualification
- The applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work Experience
- The candidates should have a minimum 5 years of experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Build and repair shipping boxes, skids, and other wooden items.
- Calibrate and repair gages, recorders, values, and control devices.
- Construct, install, service, troubleshoot, repair hydraulic, steam, air, water, and mechanical systems equipment. May order or make replacement parts.
- Inspect and repair hoisting equipment to comply with OSHA regulations.
- Install and repair piping systems for air, water, steam, hydraulic, ventilation, and other liquids and gases. May assist in Power Plant maintenance.
- Install and repair sanitary equipment including toilets, urinals, sinks, and drinking fountains.
- Lubricate equipment. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance inspections.
- Repair roof leaks, windows, doors, floors, walls, ceiling tile, other building items and apply paint.
- Train, assist and communicate effectively with co-workers and production operators. Attend General Stores in the storekeeper’s absence.
- Work effectively in a Self-Directed Work Team environment.
- Perform other similar and related duties. Keep work areas clean and orderly.
