Job Profile

The company (Magna Seating) is seeking a Maintenance Technician 1 who will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations in the plant.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants require a High School Education or Equivalent
• Maintenance Technician Certificate or equivalent education and work experience

Work Experience

• Experience with PLCs, photo-eyes, welding, fabrication, pneumatics, and hydraulics (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Complies with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management System requirements.
• Displays a positive attitude towards safety, works safely, follows all company policies, and reports all unsafe and unhealthy conditions.
• Provide assistance to departments requiring maintenance needs or assistance.
• Provide assistance to Platform Engineers, Process Engineers, and Quality as it relates to fixtures, tooling, and gages that are used in the manufacture of assemblies or products.
• Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
• Perform daily job assignments as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must have welding, light electrical, machining, and general mechanical aptitude.
• Must obtain a forklift license and pass a forklift physical.
• Robotics, PLCs, Photo eyes, electrical, welding, pneumatics, conveyors, VFRQ drives, hydraulics, and tooling (preferred)
