Job Profile
The company is looking for a Maintenance Technician who performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair work on plant equipment.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Work Experience
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of maintenance/mechanic experience or technical education in a related field from an accredited institution
Duties/Responsibilities
- Complete special projects as required, including design and repair work on material handling systems and other mechanical devices
- Design and fabricate parts to improve machine operation
- Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment
- Support continuous improvement teams
- Support operators in machine changeovers
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to complete quality work in a timely manner both independently and in a team setting
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Blueprint and process sheet reading
- Fork truck operation
- Knowledge of CNC machines
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
- Knowledge of plumbing systems
- Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of programmable logic controls
- Understands Statistical Process Control
- Welding skills
