Job Profile
The company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its team.
The position will report directly to the crew Supervisor.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a Mechanical Technical Degree or Certificate equivalent with 1-year practical experience OR
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in an industrial setting (desired)

- Possess a combination of education and experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Accountable for health, safety, and environmental issues related to this position.
- Assist as required with performing other activities as required by customer demand.
- Install, maintain, and repair all types of mechanical equipment with a constant focus on improving equipment reliability through the utilization of “MVP” and EBS techniques.
- Work with experienced craftsmen to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for advancement.
Duties as Craft Master-
- Diagnoses complex equipment failures, troubleshoots for root causes, and develops solutions utilizing a scientific approach with at a minimum the following tools; prints, sketches, manuals, and diagnostic equipment, coupled with machinery knowledge and common sense in an efficient and timely manner.
- Safely dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and operates complex equipment using hand and power tools, cranes and hoists often involving complex rigging.
- Applies knowledge of mechanics, welding, pipefitting, hydraulics, and other crafts and trades work to efficiently repair or maintain complex equipment daily.
- Completes work in a timely manner, often without direct supervision.
- Ability to organize work for maximum efficiency.
- Ability to adjust work priorities based on business requirements.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Applicants will be required to take a written mechanical assessment from the Maintenance Training Center as well as perform a hands-on skill demonstration to assist with proofing/evaluating their mechanical knowledge and skill level.
- Participation in the Craft Academic Training Center (required)
