The company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join its team.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants must have a 2-year Associate’s Degree in a field related to the performance of the Maintenance industry preferred with 2-3 years of experience.

Work Experience

• Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience (in case of no degree)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Complies with all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in accordance with the Magna Employee Charter and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complies with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management System requirements.
• Displays a positive attitude towards safety, works safely, follows all company policies, and reports all unsafe and unhealthy conditions.
• Maintain daily inspections and reports on relevant equipment.
• Maintain documentation for maintenance equipment and systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, inspect, and repair all types of plant equipment and systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotics)
• Operate forklift and genie boom
• Perform proper lockout/tag-out operations
• Provide assistance to departments requiring maintenance needs or assistance.
• Provide assistance to Manufacturing Engineers and Quality as it relates to fixtures and gages that are used in the manufacture of assemblies or products.
• Troubleshoot using PLC ladder logic
• Welding and Machining
• Perform daily job assignments as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
