Job Profile
The company is searching for a Maintenance Technician who will ensure manufacturing equipment is effectively and efficiently maintained to achieve a safe, high-quality, and productive operation.
Use corrective, preventive, predictive, and productive maintenance to ensure repairs are achieved in a timely manner to support maximum production.
Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of plant buildings and grounds.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have an Associate’s Degree (college/university) preferred or equivalent professional experience in maintenance
Work Experience
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing operation
- Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Facilities experience (a plus)
- Strong experience with welding
Duties/Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes, identifying improvements to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate across operational and functional teams to resolve issues and make improvements.
- Communicate with suppliers when obtaining parts or making repairs.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained for all plant equipment and facilities.
- Ensure that work is performed in a safe manner. This includes wearing all required personal protective equipment.
- Inspect equipment, processes, and facilities to make improvements.
- Install, repair, and maintain equipment to improve operations and the facility overall.
- Perform corrective, preventive, predictive, and production maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing issues in the process and facility.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to flex work hours including evenings or weekends
- Basic understanding of electrical
- Computer knowledge and basic use of Microsoft Office
- Conduct all maintenance with safety first/safety always approach
- A professional, positive approach to working across teams
- Root cause problem solving
