The company is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join its team.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum A.S. Technical Degree from a college/university
Work Experience
- 2 years of maintenance troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing facility
Duties/Responsibilities
- Accurately completes written documentation of activities as required (work orders, PO requests, etc.).
- Analyzes equipment problems, determines root causes, and recommends solutions.
- Balances rotating equipment.
- Initiate qualification process to achieve senior technician status in 24 months.
- Loads and unloads equipment or materials related to maintenance and facilities projects.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Maintains a high-quality level of work; results of work should indicate good craftsmanship in an environment that produces schedule changes on short notice.
- Maintains an acceptable attendance record and works overtime as required.
- Measures and makes appropriate changes to paint booth and over-air flow to maintain system balance.
- Participates in department meetings.
- Performs general electrical construction: Installs conduit, electrical enclosures, electrical controllers, switches, etc.
- Performs general mechanical work including welding, pipe fitting, equipment installation, and fabrication work.
- Report any abnormalities of tools, parts, or equipment to the Supervisor.
- Submits cost reduction and Innovation ideas.
- Troubleshoots and repairs electronic hydraulic, and pneumatic controllers and devices, and HVAC.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Must have forklift and man lift operator’s license
- Must have good math skills
- Must have good problem-solving skills
- Must work well with others. Must have good communication skills – both verbal and written
- Specialization in electronics, electrical power and controls, fluid power transfer, MIG welding, HVAC, crane operation, and rigging training classes
