Job Profile

The company is hiring a Maintenance Technician who will perform detailed phases of tool room/machinist/maintenance work.

Performs duties associated with all areas of production due to maintenance issues.

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• MIG welding experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Building prototype products and test units.
• Daily and monthly maintenance, which includes monthly fire extinguisher checks, monthly housekeeping audits, maintenance records, and temporary internal auditing.
• Manage the preventative maintenance program to include; performing the PM schedule as assigned on the maintenance calendar, completing all documentation, and placing all documents in their proper locations in the maintenance folders.
• Operation of all tool room machinery.
• Repair and maintain weld fixtures.
• Welding (MIG) due to maintenance issues.
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

• Ability to gain knowledge and perform in all areas of production
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products
• Ability to obtain JOST International Fork Truck Certification
• Comply with quality, environmental, and safety policies and procedures
• Knowledge of basic tool room skills preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule

Physical Demands

• Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of the time
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, twist, and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull, or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
