Job Profile

The company is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will perform a wide variety of tasks in maintaining, repairing, and installing machinery and equipment in the plant, office, laboratory facilities, and surrounding property.

Educational Qualification

Work Experience

• In-depth experience in general maintenance of all plant equipment
• Significant electrical and electronics experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Electrical – ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical components; electrical controllers 110-480 volt. Run conduit for all the above.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of basic HVAC systems to do minor repairs.
• Machine Repair – the ability to troubleshoot and install, repair critical machinery including hydraulic pneumatic, CNC, and mechanical components, doing it right the 1st time in the required time frame.
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, and masonry tasks.
• Perform other duties as instructed by Supervisors.
• Pipefitting – ability to thread pipe, all sizes. Installation of gas lines, airlines, copper lines, and hazardous chemical lines including stainless Inconel, PVC, and CPVC.
• Proficient in basic welding tasks.
• Provide instructions to maintenance employees of lower skills.
• Will accumulate and handle hazardous waste.
• Perform other duties as instructed by Supervisors.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair critical machinery
• Additional education in applied theory is necessary
• General knowledge of plant HVAC systems
• Must possess the ability to climb and work at varying heights
• Physical surrounding varies from pleasant to extreme temperatures
