Job Profile

The company is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will manage our manufacturing machinery’s electrical and mechanical maintenance.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• 2+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
• Both Mechanical and Electrical experience
• PLC troubleshooting experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory to identify parts and new parts to prevent minimum breakdown or machine downtime.
• Assume the role and responsibilities of all Claremont Plant equipment working safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical breakdowns as well as pneumatic, hydraulic, and general building maintenance ·
• Install new and upgrade equipment as needed.
• Maintain record utilizing the computer of all work completed, time spent, and materials used.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. when completing various tasks
• Performs preventive and operational maintenance to ensure a functional and safe environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair all equipment to keep production going on time.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to comprehend technical documents.
• Be a self-starter and a team-oriented employee
• Have a safe work history and perform safe work habits.
• Know general machine shop equipment (welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipefitting, air compressors, fire protection, and automation).
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid work attendance record.
