- Must be 18 years or older

- Possess work-related experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Using hand tools to perform maintenance on production machinery
- Ensuring food safety and quality
- Cleanliness and housekeeping
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous production or maintenance experience
- 4 years of maintenance experience
- Previous Cargill experience
- Work history in the past 12 months
- Must know OSHA regulations governing this area
- Candidates should be currently enrolled or have completed an apprenticeship program, or have an equivalent educational background
- Experience in solid-state controls and devices including PLC. Frequency drives and HIM is a plus
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to read/write/speak English
- Ability to work with a variety of hand tools
- Must be able to understand and use blueprints, schematics, and installation/operation manuals to install and repair equipment
- Extensive knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical principles
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
- Accuracy, precision, and dependability are a necessity
- Must be a self-starter and have good communication skills
- Must be a team player, but also must be able to work well alone
- Specific eye requirements: No contact lenses allowed in the engine room when welding or electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
