Job Profile

The company is hiring a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipes, and electrical systems.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist the tooling department with tooling repair and maintenance related to manufacturing equipment.
  • Capable of basic electrical system installations
  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
  • Complete scheduled tasking for preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers
  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts
  • Install and repair electrical apparatuses, such as transformers and wiring, along with electrical components of machinery and equipment
  • Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and their related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions
  • Operate a cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturing machinery and plant facility.
  • Perform basic PLC equipment repair and troubleshooting
  • Perform troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment
  • Repair and maintenance of light industrial manufacturing equipment including but not limited to CNC mills, lathes, lasers, hydraulic presses, saws, etc.
  • Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as late, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools
  • Troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, and preventative maintenance of production machinery and plant facility
  • Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
  • Work with others to diagnose problems
