Job Profile
The company is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join its team.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or equivalent Military training
- Technical School (preferred)
Work Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting industrial electrical control systems down to the component level
Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide safe preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, timely electrical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment.
- Contribute to a collaborative safety culture that drives results
- Provide rapid response to ensure seamless productivity.
- Utilize electrical/mechanical skills to maintain machinery
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work independently maturely and professionally. Ability to work flexible hours, overtime
- Able to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives (preferred but not required). PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability (preferred but not required). Practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.
- Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3-phase motor control circuits Some knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches Familiar with computers and Microsoft software.
- An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems.
- Basic welding skills are preferred but not required. Familiar with pumps, both air and electric.
- Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings. Working knowledge of power transmission equipment and bearings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
