Job Profile
The company is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on all equipment, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and machinery while adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
Responsible for performing a combination of tasks including some advanced tasks involved with repairing and maintaining machinery of mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, adjusting AB PLCs, production machines, and other equipment.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience
- 5 years of maintenance experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Identify, recommend, and implement changes for expansions and additions to improve facility systems.
- Improve function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures while complying with legal codes and regulations.
- Miscellaneous repairs and tasks.
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of equipment, machinery, electrical systems, and structures using blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and written instructions while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Troubleshoot machines and equipment.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to read blueprints, tape measures, and dial calipers.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude required, and basic math skills (preferred)
- Experience working on and around Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Some welding/fabrication and HVAC/refrigeration experience (a plus)
