Job Profile

The company is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will perform minor repairs to the facility, repair small tools, perform minor fabrication, coordinate supplies and replacement parts, and assist in subassembly operations.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, a High School Diploma (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Build various subassemblies (Tanks, Stands, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area
• Maintain a necessary inventory of facility supplies (filters, bulbs, etc.).
• Order required maintenance supplies
• Perform building repair projects
• Perform equipment lubrication
• Perform preventive maintenance Checks on equipment and the facility. (Maintain required records).
• Plan and select the materials needed to complete a job
• Repair various small tools (Rivet Guns, Drills, etc.)
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocol.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Assist with facility-related projects as required
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician
• Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including lift trucks, saws, drills, and small hand tools
• Must be able to read a tape measure, micrometer, and calipers
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Participate in teams as required
• Perform minor wiring repairs and projects
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
• Work on small tool repairs
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices

Work Environment

• Follow all PPE and Safety requirements in the facility.
• Must be able to climb and operate at heights
• Obtain and maintain a Lift truck (Standup, Sit-down, Scissor lift)
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
