Job Profile

The company is searching for a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the general and specific job duties of DexSys.

The position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Education Level

  • Associate’s Degree in a technical field preferred or relevant work experience may be substituted in place of a degree.
  • Work experience combined with current schooling towards a degree will be considered.

Work Experience

  • 2 years of manufacturing experience (required)
  • Previous automotive manufacturing experience (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Fabricate equipment as required.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment by repairing and replacing parts as necessary.
  • Read the parts breakdown and machine schematics.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, or replace all components of DexSys equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, all electrical equipment, hydraulics, mechanical, piping, pumps, and pneumatics in the Molding, Paint, and Assembly Department.
  • Use required hand tools to perform repairs, predictive, and preventative maintenance.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Knowledge of machine fabrication/welding, troubleshooting, and electrical/mechanical repairs.

  • Exposure to noise, heat, and machinery
  • Industrial or manufacturing environments
  • On-call availability for emergency repairs
  • Physically demanding tasks and manual labor
  • Shift work, including nights or weekends
