Job Profile

The company is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)

Work Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience with exposure to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and machine and equipment repairs required.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate measures to correct them
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor, including walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for troubleshooting, repairs, and process and safety improvements
• Answer questions and requests regarding mechanical maintenance
• Ensure maintenance welding and specifying parts needed for proper repairs
• Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, by listening for problems, or by using precision measuring and testing instruments
• Maintaining accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules, as well as knowledge of general and preventative maintenance procedures
• Oversee crane inspections and repairs
• Perform weekly safety checks to ensure a safe and clean environment and eliminate all hazards
• Possess strong rigging background with a safety background
• Possess VFD and PLC experience preferred
• Possess working knowledge of Low Voltage, 120V, 220 single phase and 230V, 480V Three Phase
• Remove old equipment and installation of new
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work well in a team setting
• Strong working knowledge in Pneumatics and Hydraulics (troubleshooting)
• Understand proper LOTO procedures

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read and write clearly.
• Good judgment abilities to seek problem resolution.
• Good math skills.
• Must be available for weekend and holiday call-ins or for scheduled maintenance service work as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to walk, talk, or hear.
• Occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• Work in both office and manufacturing environments.
• May occasionally be required to perform job responsibilities outside the typical office setting.
