Job Profile

The company is hiring a Manual Welder who will weld or tack weld metal parts together, using a spot-welding gun or hand, electric, or gas welding equipment according to specifications and machine operating instructions.

Educational Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
• Age 18 years or older

Duties/Responsibilities

• Additional responsibilities include good housekeeping and other assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
• Be able to work overtime as requested and posted by management.
• Be capable of working from drawings or blueprints and possess the necessary knowledge of measuring instruments.
• Capable of performing said operations to close tolerances and shall inspect the parts for conformity to quality standards as established for the department as a whole. Inspection is to include component defects and operation of all working parts.
• Continuously safely perform all required tasks, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Must take immediate action to correct or report any unsafe conditions and hazards.
• Take an active role in caring for the equipment to prevent breakdowns and defects and help increase overall equipment efficiency through 5S, TPM (total productive maintenance), and other Lean Manufacturing initiatives directed by the Sedalia site.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead) material supply fulfillment along with satisfactory performance requirements.

• Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics, etc. And follow them with precision
• Basic computer knowledge
