Job Profile

The company is hiring a Manufacturing Area Manager (Fabrication, Machining, and Welding) who will be responsible for planning, implementation, and maintenance of the manufacturing activities of a specific area.

Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.

Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 or more years of supervisory experience, including experience with welding, fabrication, or machining OR
• Associate degree plus 8 or more years of supervisory experience, including experience with welding, fabrication, or machining OR
• High School Diploma/GED plus 10 or more years of supervisory experience, including experience with welding, fabrication, or machining

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Follows established procedures and drives continuous improvement in the plant’s manufacturing processes, including fabrication, welding, and machining.
• Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs to meet marketplace demand.
• Resolves issues related to the organization’s production, machinery, processing, or packaging operations.
• Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.
• Sets up equipment operation feed, speed, and temperature.
• Other related duties as assigned.
