Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer who will enhance and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial engineering with 3-5 years of Automotive industry-related experience

Work Experience

  • Experience working in a production environment
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing process engineering role

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Complete ownership and clear communication are key to succeeding in this role.
  • Define and implement change processes, manage fixtures, utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and program and maintain tools.
  • Ensure that manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, while meeting production targets and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensure seamless implementation of process changes, and support future projects by setting up lines, ensuring station readiness, and installing equipment.
  • Provide critical support during production startups and ongoing production operations to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to interpret and apply a range of instruction formats (written, oral, diagrams, schedules) and address problems lacking standard solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Proactive mindset with ability to recommend process, policy, and system improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fixtures, and tooling.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines, including extended hours when needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze issues using 5 Whys methodology, research root causes, and develop effective, creative solutions with sound decision-making.
  • Understanding of the MES system and integration
