Job Profile

The company is hiring a Manufacturing Launch Engineer who will design new products and processes, and improve and maintain existing products.

Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Discipline plus 5 or more years of experience

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Designs welding and fabrication fixturing based on improvements to new and existing products.
• Determines parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification
• Maximizes efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization
• May confer with management, production, and product engineering staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
• Responsible for documenting, controlling, and improving the processes used to manufacture Aluminum Booms, including but not limited to fabrication, welding, and assembly processes. While promoting safety and quality through engineering controls
• Work closely with production supervision, production planning, purchasing, and design engineering to launch new design programs, model year changes, and manage the site’s ECO processes.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Fluency in engineering programs and systems
• CWI certification
