Duties/Responsibilities

• Be easy to get in touch with, agreeable to ideas, and accommodating. React with a sense of urgency
• Begin work at the start of the shift and ensure the necessary means to pass on all pertinent information to the next shift
• Complete the required paperwork to order new parts and track existing parts
• Coordinate maintenance of parts inventory with MRO and purchasing personnel
• Ensure corrective work orders are written from PM work activities.
• Ensure housekeeping is better
• Ensure job completion and quality
• Ensure orderly conduct concerning company policy regarding
• Ensure orderly shift changeover and complete briefs are performed.
• Follow daily work schedules
• Identify needed parts to repair equipment and facility
• Maintain all detailed logs and notes to ensure 100% accuracy of data
• Meet work specifications and quality standards for each assignment
• Perform approved maintenance work, specific jobs, preventive maintenance (PM), and work orders as appropriate
• Perform clean as you go
• Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance safely and efficiently and document the results
• Provide proper and timely service to maintenance customers (production, warehouse, paint line, etc.)
• Provide technical assistance to maintenance customers.
• Record and report all daily time distribution.
• Seek ways to conserve resources and improve costs and efficiency

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist and lift 51 to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Must be able to distinguish colors and have correctable eyesight and correctable hearing
• Must be able to handle multiple demands and pressure situations while working in a fast-paced production environment
• Must have above-average oral and written communication skills and must have the ability to work well with others
• Must have working knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical and Mechanical Equipment, Machine Break Down
• Position requires walking, standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, crawling, bending, twisting
• Proper discharge of safety responsibilities is an integral part of each associate’s performance appraisal
• Required personal protective equipment, mechanical and electrical tools, and or fabrication/machining necessary equipment to complete assigned task
• Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times
• Work in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to equipment noise, temperature extremes, and dust
• Work involves high-voltage equipment and rapidly moving machinery; constant attention to safe practices is required
