Job Profile
The company is looking for a Process Manufacturing Engineer who will perform functions to provide manufacturing departments with technical and engineering support in areas related to manufacturing problem resolution and process improvement, working within the limits of established policies.
Developing, configuring, and optimizing industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
Assessing processes, taking measurements, and interpreting data.
Designing, running, testing, and upgrading systems and processes.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have an Associate’s Degree in Engineering from a college/university
Work Experience
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of work experience in engineering
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain process control plans, FMEAs, and process manuals.
- Equipment validations, safety, and quality audits.
- Examine process and quality documentation. Determine causes for problems, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend solutions follow up to implement or support changes. Communicate results to customers and document incidents for further review and historical files.
- Examine specific problem areas, and efficiency opportunities and devise solutions. Determine process and equipment modifications required to affect desired changes. Conduct experiments, document results, prepare reports and make presentations to management regarding process and equipment modifications, designed to correct designated problems.
- Implement trials of authorized programs, monitor, measure, examine, validate, and report results. Document programs, including procedures, timing, and costs. Initiate, and implement permanent process changes and manage related implementation projects, working with vendors, manufacturing management, and all levels of production, quality, and engineering staff.
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5S standards.
- Monitor implementation programs, and anticipate and resolve related problems. Ensure programs operate within designated budgetary constraints and prepare any range of related progress reports and presentations.
- Monitor manufacturing processes. Document operation processes and investigate existing and emerging technology, to determine opportunities for process improvements to affect the quality and efficiency of production.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain workflow or respond to emergency conditions.
- Provide production support through process parameter control, process design, and changes. Staff training as required to implement new process or equipment improvements, scrap reduction, and productivity improvements.
- Requires the ability to perform all duties within the limits of the standard methods and procedures, and in accordance with strict adherence to HSE, quality, and productivity requirements.
- Respond to and investigate customer product complaints. Examine product or results of product utilization and identify specific problems.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Preferred Qualifications-
- 3+ years of experience in induction welded tube manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Ability to think critically and theoretically.
- Knowledge of 6-sigma and LEAN manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of material sciences, metallurgy, and aluminum.
- Previous experience with Solid Works
- Strong understanding of mechanical components
- Working Knowledge of modeling software
