Job Profile
The company is recruiting a Manufacturing Supervisor who will manage approximately 5-15 employees performing machining, welding, deburring, and extrusion.
Must be a US citizen to be in the position.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical/business (preferred but not required)
Work Experience
- 2-5 years of manufacturing experience (2+ years of lead/supervisory experience)
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Metal extrusion and CNC Lathe experience (preferred but not required)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Act as Subject Matter expert on machinery and procedures
- Assist with managing employee performance and increasing team engagement
- Drive a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork
- Drive safety projects and actions as required
- Ensure that manufacturing documentation, procedures, and protocols are followed at all times.
- Implement lean manufacturing methods (6S, flow, visual organizations, etc.)
- Improve machine utilization through setup reduction and enhanced scheduling
- Manage cost reduction projects
- Manage team to meet daily schedule, throughput targets, and customer satisfaction
- Monitor scrap, yield, and part efficiencies on existing programs to ensure the achievement of budget targets.
- Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and orderly workstation
- Operate equipment to produce parts and meet quality standards on a need basis
- Weekly or bi-weekly employee communications meetings.
- Work closely with Area Manager to increase productivity/reduce variable cost
- Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Occasionally exposed to airborne particles and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
