Job Profile

The company is searching for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join its team.

Educational Qualification

  • High School Diploma with 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Associates Degree with 4 or more years of manufacturing experience (preferred)
  • Associates Degree with 2 years of supervisory experience

Work Experience

  • Possess Experience running CNC Machines, Lathes, Mills, and other machining equipment.
  • Welding experience (a plus)
  • Experience within a medical device or regulated environment (highly preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ensure attainment of daily/weekly production plan by ensuring communication between the cells/shifts, sharing best practices, prioritizing countermeasures among production cells, and ensuring proper job performance of all team members.
  • Drive attainment of improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) performance.
  • Lead with proper adherence to quality system procedures, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Ensure immediate response to abnormalities through identifying, documenting, and segregating nonconforming material.
  • Monitor operational status on all equipment/tools including calibration and certification, escalates as needed.
  • Facilitate a safety culture, perform safety audits to ensure proper use and condition of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), machines, and safeguards, trains individuals on safety procedures and expectations, lead investigations of near misses/incidents, and facilitate the implementation of safety and ergonomics improvements.
  • Screen and selects qualified individuals for positions, conduct performance reviews, determine salary adjustments, work schedules, promotions, training, and effectively address employee relations situations, and manage conflict.
  • Drive optimum employee performance and talent development.
  • Provides growth, training, and development opportunities to employees.
  • Drives result through effective coaching, counseling of staff, and setting meaningful and measurable goals.
  • Evaluate performance and escalates needs through proper management and coaching of team members in relation to SQDC board meetings and daily standard reports (daily production, material requirements, etc.).
