Job Profile

The company is seeking a Material Handler who will move and mark finished goods and scrap foam from various machinery and departments.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Experience

• Material handling experience (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist in the wrapping department as needed.
• Assist various areas of operations with positioning foam onto pallets for production or shipping.
• Ensure all flats of material have tickets.
• Move empty flats to the end of the conveyor lines.
• Move finished and unfinished products as needed throughout the operation.
• Unload any leftover foam blocks on the conveyors.
• Use hand trucks, buggies, or other material handling equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
• Consistent at work and on time
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Meets productivity standards; completes work on time; strives to increase productivity.
• Observes all safety procedures and policies; reports potentially unsafe conditions to the supervisor; uses equipment and materials properly.

Work Environment

• Exposure to loud noises and moving equipment
• May require the use of safety gear like gloves, helmets, and steel-toe boots
• Physically demanding with frequent lifting and carrying
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Working in warehouses or outdoor environments
