Job Profile
The company is looking for an MCL Lab Technician who will be responsible for conducting chemical testing and metallurgical analysis.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of Testing Lab or Engineering experience OR
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent 2-year technical school training and 4+ years of industry-related experience.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations for the solution of material and process problems.
- Demonstrates a good working relationship with fellow employees.
- Devise and evaluate tests, procedures, equipment, and records for the control of materials and repair processes.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to lead a cross-functional team.
- Must have proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Perform a wide range of chemical, physical, and metallurgical tests, investigations, and analyses.
- Perform quantitative analyses using basic chemical and instrumental analytical laboratory techniques on various solutions, fluids, metals, abrasives, and compounds ensuring conformity to specifications.
- Prepare and perform sampling procedures relative to various industrial hygiene programs.
- Support Environment, Health and Safety initiatives.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Must be a US Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
- Familiarity with Quality Systems including ISO.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Material Control Lab experience, with the ability to operate lab instruments and machinery.
- Aftermarket MRO industry experience.
- Knowledge of engine part repair processes (i.e. welding, plasma, plating, EDM, and cleaning).
