Job Profile
The company is seeking a Mechanic/Vehicle Technician who will be skilled at diagnosing and repairing diesel/gasoline engines and other powertrain components, hydraulic brakes, steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, and diesel emission systems.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants may require a High School Diploma
Work Experience
- Possess work-related experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ability to use a scan tool and laptop technology
- Follow reasonable instructions from the shift leader
- Help maintain an effective and clean work environment
- Must have own tools or ability to obtain own tools to complete all job functions
- Perform routine truck inspections and maintenance of fleet equipment
- Welding and torch experience is a plus but not required
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to work independently or with other mechanics
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle or be willing to learn
