Job Profile

The company is looking for a Mechanical Assembler II to join its manufacturing team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• In the absence of a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Work Experience

• Prior assembly and Tig welding experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Daily use of measuring equipment to weigh different types of chemicals.
• Daily use of press operation.
• Daily wear of PPE is required (i.e. N95 respirator, steel toe boots)
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Performs all work by quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Some standard assembly work is to be performed using knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Some tig welding work to be performed.
• Work within a high-level compliance area with PPE and cleanroom standards to mitigate foreign objects and debris from entering products.
• Other job duties assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.
