Job Profile
The company is looking for a Mechanical Assembler II to join its manufacturing team.
Education Level
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- In the absence of a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
Work Experience
- Prior assembly and Tig welding experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Daily use of measuring equipment to weigh different types of chemicals.
- Daily use of press operation.
- Daily wear of PPE is required (i.e. N95 respirator, steel toe boots)
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Performs all work by quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Some standard assembly work is to be performed using knowledge of processes and equipment.
- Some tig welding work to be performed.
- Work within a high-level compliance area with PPE and cleanroom standards to mitigate foreign objects and debris from entering products.
- Other job duties assigned.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.
