Job Profile

The company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who must be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to ever-changing business needs.

Educational Qualification

• The aspiring applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a university or college.

Work Experience

• The candidates with 0 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility will be a plus.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Adhere to procedures that promote safety, health/welfare for employees and contractors within the facility
• Assist maintenance planning/scheduling: Develop and implement systems for scheduling and documenting the performance of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and calibrations.
• Assist with Predictive Maintenance Programs (vibration analysis, ultrasonic inspection, tribology)
• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis – develop and direct-action plans
• Devises new approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard technical principles
• Help with maintenance effectiveness evaluations: Trend and analyze performance data and gather maintenance history
• Manage operating area mechanical reliability improvement projects and programs
• Provide technical support to technology licensing projects as required
• Work on Capital project creation/management

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read schematics
• Knowledge of Hydraulics
• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical manuals and engineering documentation
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project a plus
• Troubleshooting skills
• Able to travel up to 15 to 25% – overnight and international travel Knowledge of or willingness to learn the following is desirable-
  -Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
  -Machine Design
  -Planning and Scheduling
  -Predictive Technologies
  -Preventive Maintenance
  -Root Cause Failure Analysis
  -Tribology, Infra-Red, and Ultrasonic Programs
  -Understanding of sealing systems for agitators, pumps, and other rotary equipment
  -Vibration Analysis
