The company is searching for a Mechanical Engineer (Robotics Packages) to join its team.

Education Level

• Bachelor of Science or MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Degree

Work Experience

• 2 or more years of design experience
• Hands-on experience (e.g., mechanically inclined hobbies, experience in a mechanic shop, hands-on with mechanical systems, welding, etc.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Build robotic package BOMs (Bill of Materials)
• Comply with all NOV company policies and procedures.
• Identify product improvements.
• Interface with multiple NOV engineering group disciplines as required by the project.
• interface with the proposals team as required.
• Produce or check design layouts and detail drawings.
• Provide engineering support on mechanical equipment about Robotics packages offshore and onshore.
• Research and specify purchased parts.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to multitask on multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas and thoughts.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and procedures
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and highly motivated
• Work independently or in a design team setting.
