Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Mechanical Pipefitter to join its team for the trade on the island chain of Hawaii.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should be High School Graduates (required)

Work Experience

• Possess a minimum 4 years of experience in pipe fitting and pipe welding work (required)

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in multiple trade skills (i.e., carpentry/plumbing)
• Experience working with a variety of pipe materials and history of certification in welding (preferred)
• Journeyman Certification
• Previous overseas experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Accomplishes hands-on pipe welding and welding tasks on maintenance and construction projects in Hawaii.
• Accomplishes various projects utilizing design drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Advises the Foreman on job progress and material requirements.
• Maintains a safe workplace program and ensures safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
• Must be able to lift up to the safety regulation maximum.
• Performs cutting, fitting/welding, connection, and installation of piping.
• Welds various types and sizes of piping.
• Works outside on various job sites in extreme cold weather conditions as required.
• Performs other duties as required.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read design drawings and diagrams (required)
• Must be willing and able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs.
