The company is hiring a Mechanical Technician to join its Environments and Infrastructure team.

Education Level

• Associate of Science Degree in a related STEM discipline (trade license in leu of AA.) with a general applied science focus

Work Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of industry/military experience
• Experience in building and maintaining vacuum or cryogenic systems
• Experience transitioning components and processes from research and development to manufacturing
• Experience with chilled water systems and liquefied gas systems
• Experience with powder metallurgy, hydraulic press, and metal powder molds
• Experience with TIG welding and Laser Welding joinery
• Understanding of chemical handling protocols, compressed gases, and liquid cryogens

Duties/Responsibilities

• Build, test, and troubleshoot mechanical systems
• Collaborate with others
• Recommend improvements
• Troubleshoot complex systems

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• US citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance
