Job Profile
The company is recruiting a Mechanical/Welding Inspector who will be responsible for ensuring that the Project Quality Plan in conjunction with Project Execution Plan is developed and implemented.
This position will promote quality awareness throughout the organization, emphasizing excellence, continuous improvement, and corrective action to influence the overall success of the company business.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have Industry Standard Certifications, preferably (CWI, API, etc.)
Work Experience
- Possess 10+ years of Mechanical and Welding inspection experience (required)
- Experience with Mechanical equipment (Rotating and Static) required
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist review of Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), and Quality Procedures and all pertained QA/QC documentation prior to commencement of any fabrication/construction work
- Capture results of inspection/observations and report in a timely manner
- Ensure suppliers/contractors have relevant, up-to-date codes, standards, specifications, and drawings
- Interface with the discipline engineer, construction engineer, field workers, and inspectors in a professional manner
- Verify the implementation of PTW (permit to work) LOTO (Lockout and Tagout) and other safety procedures
- Witness and monitor suppliers/contractors’ work activities, inspections and tests in accordance with the approved Quality Plan, ITP, Quality Procedures, etc.
