• Journeyman or Apprenticeship, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Experience

• Minimum 7-10 years of related experience (required)

License/Certification

• Welding Certification (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Apply robust product engineering and tooling capabilities.
• Contribute to the creation of lightweight and innovative automotive products.
• Develop industry-leading automotive technologies.
• Participate in a global team with varied responsibilities.
• Provide body, chassis, and engineering solutions to global customers.
• Support continuous personal and professional development.
• Utilize diverse process expertise in product development.
• Work in an engaging and dynamic environment.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Hi-lo license, crane operator license.
• Ability to work flexible work hours, including unscheduled overtime, when necessary.
• Demonstrated flexibility and initiative in current role.
• Maintains a clean, safe working environment.
• Maintains professionalism and a positive approach during all customer and co-worker interactions, with an understanding of the appropriate level of confidentiality.
• Possess initiative and willingness to learn.
• Prioritizes workload, performs duties as needed, and with a sense of urgency.

• Exposure to noise and metal dust
• Handles metal tools and equipment
• Stands for long periods
• Wears protective gear (PPE)
• Works in a machine shop environment
